Creating a zoo biscuit and elephant

Image
Two weeks ago, I made a zoo biscuit and an elephant out of clay. As a child, I really enjoyed getting my hands dirty in the mud and "making cakes" and last week I got the privilege of diving back into my muddy cake ways. I throughly enjoyed the experience and didn't think I could sculpt that good. I was surprised with the outcome of both the zoo biscuit and the elephant. This experience surprised me and I'm very happy with the outcome. I think this experience will benefit my creative process by making me more aware of how simple shapes can morph together and form such complex and interesting things. After this experience, I think try to dive into my childhood loves more often.

Why can I taste blood in my mouth?

I feel dead. Who knew that after six months of NOT TRAINING, your body would feel like this? Clearly not me. Running has always been a pet peeve of mine; not only because I feel all sweaty afterwards but because I look weird doing it. My legs are special... They find the need to bounce off the ground uncontrollably and resemble body parts from expressionistic artworks (in other words, they distort into wondrous shapes).  The children in my complex were privileged enough to see these chicken little feet of mine actually move.  "Okay, two more laps!" shouted one of the girls. "TWO MORE LAPS. I think I'm done for the day." I think this experience benefited my creative process as it made me more aware of my body. I didn't realise I could still run as fast as I used to in high school and could actually feel the blood rushing through my legs in the form of a tingly feeling after my run.
